The main theme of Bridport Mind Fest this year is The Five Ways to Mental Wellbeing; connect, be active, keep learning, be mindful, and give to others.
The Saturday events showcase a number of ways to follow these five ways and signpost where you can encourage others to look for help, or seek help yourself.
In Bucky Doo Square there will be various demonstrations by organisations showcasing local clubs and facilities which help us keep physically fit. As well as music to entertain and interviews with local and national organisations.
In Bridport Arts Centre we are bringing together more than twenty organisations that are here to help with mental wellbeing, drop in, chat and find out more about mental wellbeing and what you can do to look after it!
Organisations will range from lifestyle and food organisations such as the Women’s Institute to NHS specialisms concerned with mental health. Some are local, others national.
Running alongside the stands, there will be a creative play zone for children with fun, creative and mindful activities that everyone is welcome to get stuck into!
The Bridport Mood Wall will be on the Forecourt of the Arts Centre. You can record your own mood level on the board for each day.
